Xmas Specials, and a special year

So. Now then. It's been a few months since we launched the website, we're coming in festive style to the end of 2011 and, here at Buffalo Brownies, we're getting a bit sentimental in our old age. We also like bargains. Read on...

First, the good news: we've gone from strength to strength since our launch in August, meeting many lovely people and thrusting cake into their gobs. We've got what we consider to be a mighty fine range of flavours already available, with so very many more lurking in amongst our notebooks, itching to be released. We've had some brilliant feedback and responses to our range, mostly along the lines of "mmmmm" and "oh... my..." (especially the first time someone tries Atomic), and we're going to spend some time in 2012 not only expanding the range but also trying to find more numerous and varied ways to get our cakes out to you. A Monthly Tasting Club subscription, anyone? Thought so. We've had a great time in 2011, from these humble beginnings - care to imagine how we'll be doing in December 2012? 'Xciting!

Secondly, the even gooder news: we've released details of the two Xmas Special mixed boxes, available to order now from The Range. If you've never quite gotten past the idea of spending £6 on a box of a single flavour of brownies, taste untasted, we think we've come up with the ideal solution: for that same £6, you can now try (or, even better, send as a gift!) a single slice each of all six of our current main flavours. This is our Compact Mixed Box Christmas Special, available to order now for delivery, first class, on Tuesday 20 December. What better way to sample each of our flavours without having to make any effort other than clicking a couple of buttons on our website and then, from Wednesday 21 December, gently resting near your letterbox? No better way, say we. No better way.

Fancy getting ahead of the Buffalo-Brownies-flavour-discovery curve? Our other seasonal special offer gives you the chance to sample something only a few close friends and relatives have thus far enjoyed: Goldrush. A 70% dark chocolate brownie, based on our Pure recipe, with a layer of caramel running through the middle (made to our own, secret recipe). There is but a single slice of Goldrush in each Classic Sneak Preview Mixed Box and but a single delivery date of Thursday 22 December, when we will use the Royal Mail's Special Delivery service to get your brownies and blondies to you in time for the big day. There's a bit of a premium price for this service (unless you are local to South Derbyshire, in which case we can no doubt arrange pick-up or drop-off) but we're confident that you'll find it excellent value for money in allowing you your first taste of Goldrush. Ahh... Goldrush. Powerful good.

Finally, a straight-forward, old, massive THANK YOU to everyone who has supported us this year, be that by way of good custom, in providing inspiration, in being (oh-too-willing) guinea pigs to our more wilful experimental concoctions... and the rest. We love making our brownies and blondies but we love even better the idea of people enjoying them unreservedly and this is something we've seen pleasingly often over the last few months. Here's to much more in 2012!
