Hilton Primary School fayre

Had an amazing few hours this afternoon, barring the rain showers, serving our brownies and blondies to the people who came to the Hilton Primary school summer fayre.

It was great to see everybody's reactions to the product (we took Pioneer, Pure, Connoisseur and Atomic today), particularly Atomic as hardly anyone had even heard of a blondie (just like James then!!) let alone had one before. It was brilliant hearing them go "Oh my gooooooood..." when they took a sample. Definitely took away a lot of things to learn about this sort of event, too, which is a fantastic result. For our first attempt at selling direct to the public at a food fair style event, I think me and James did really well. We'll make more Atomic next time, though - ran out about half-way through the day!!! I've also had a really good idea for another blondie flavour... how about if we put some milk chocolate chips into the fudgy mix?
