Happy Birthday, Buffalo Brownies!

We are one!

And no, this isn't just a rousing tribute to the esprit de corps which fills the halls of BB Towers: Aug 22 2012 marks precisely a year since we launched our website and product onto an unsuspecting (but, it turns out, frequently grateful) public.

We've added loads of new and interesting flavours to The Range since then, most permanent but also our four seasonal specials. We've been out and about at public events, giving people their first try of our brownies and blondies. And then their second try. And the third... We should really take footage of those first reactions! We've had competitions and New Flavour Polls and we're even halfway through our very own Twitter story, 'The Ballad of Tommy and Josie: A Pioneering Love Story' (#TBoTaJAPLS). It's quite exciting at the moment - Tommy and Josie have just seen off the malevolent Gruff McDuff at Grace's saloon bar in Alvarado... Ooh! Tense! Follow all the action on our Twitter feed - 140 new characters' worth of story are added each day.

Eagle-eyed devotees will also have spotted a couple of updates to our site, made to coincide with our first anniversary today:

* The Range - we have introduced a new and improved menu layout to make it easier for you to see what flavours we have on offer from each style of cake (blondie, 70% and 80% dark chocolates) and also reminders of the seasonal specials currently out of season

* The Buffalo Brownies Monthly Tasting Club (#BBMTC) - a brand new way to get your hands on a mixed box of our brownies and blondies, once a month. The ability to buy mixed boxes via our site has been one of the options most frequently requested by our customers and this is our first attempt to satisfy that demand. We're sure this is not the end of the mixed box story at Buffalo Brownies online, either...

What have we got planned for the next few months? Well, we'll be welcoming our Emma back from maternity leave, baby boy #2 fit, healthy and settled into family life. Our development lab is hard at work perfecting the next lot of new flavours for you to discover as you try to find your flavour. There will be loads more opportunities to come and meet us at public events, starting at Betty's Farm on Sat 1 September, and with Emma back in the saddle we will get on the trail of finding new and exciting places eager to stock our slices on their shelves and counters... Exciting times!
