A big push

Word has come down from Management...

(Okay, they emailed, but that isn't nearly as dramatic a narrative to open a blog entry with) that we have a captive audience at some sort of local village event tomorrow, so we've been pressed into action baking a few trays of some representative flavours to let these good folk taste. Gives us a chance to perfect the Connoisseur recipe – we've been trying to balance the bitterness of the 80% cocoa solids chocolate with the amount of butter and sugar mixed in, making sure such a cocoa-rich recipe doesn't go dry. It's a tough job but, you know, as we get to eat most of the development samples, someone has to do it and we'll fight with many laboratory instruments to retain that right. Gregory is a proper ninja with a plastic pipette!
